The Rock Slope Engineering Lab, Department of Mining Engineering, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, is executing the R&D Project "Mine Slope Management and Monitoring System," funded by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), New Delhi, since 2020.
We are organising a day workshop for school students to demonstrate the potential use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), known as Drones, under the aegis of SSR activities of the SERB.The students will get a hands-on training session on flying the drones for data collection.It would be beneficial for the future citizens of our country to get acquainted with emerging technologies for multi-disciplinary applications.Local Invited schools will be participating in this event.
